CALL FOR PAPERS & POSTERS

29th IEEEP All Pakistan Students’ Seminar

on 22 February 2014 at
Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro

The Institution of Electrical & Electronics Engineers Pakistan (IEEEP) Karachi Centre, is pleased to invite all Universities/Institutes/Colleges in Pakistan running the undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the domain of Electrical, Computer, & Software Engineering/Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunication, Bio-Medical and other ICT related field to advise their Final Year Students to submit their research papers and technical posters on senior year projects for the 29th IEEEP All Pakistan Students’ Seminar to be held on Saturday 22 February 2014 with collaboration of the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology.

As per the tradition of this event, the Best THREE (03) PAPERS of the seminar would be awarded Cash Prizes/Gold Medals and further top 03 PAPERS would be awarded Silver Medals. IEEEP Running Trophy would be offered to the University that their students will secure top positions; this trophy will be given at the closing session of 29th IEEEP Multi-Topic International Symposium which will be held from 26 – 27 March 2014 at Hotel Pearl Continental Karachi.

The Deans of the Engineering Faculties and Heads of Department of all universities/institutes/colleges are kindly requested to please nominate students/personnel who can participate in this seminar by sending their technical papers and posters based on final year projects or who can represent your institution in this seminar.

GUIDELINES FOR PAPER AUTHORS

- Preferred Paper Format is IEEE Paper Format (Download by Google: “IEEE Paper Format”).
- The first page of the draft paper should include:
    1. Title of the paper;
    2. Name, affiliation and e-mail address for each author;
    3. Maximum of 05 keywords of the paper.
- Maximum 03 Students are allowed in one Group.
- Also include a very brief resume of all the authors.

Paper Submission:

Authors are invited to submit their Full Paper by February 06, 2014 to [email protected] and CC to [email protected], [email protected]
- The submitted file can be in MS Word format or PDF format.
- The title of seminar <29th IEEEP Seminar> should be stated in the email subject.
- Registration fee Rs.500/- per author.

GUIDELINES FOR POSTER AUTHORS

- A two page extended abstract be submitted that should describe the research problem, proposed solution and preliminary results. (Download by Google: “IEEE Paper Format”).
- Maximum 03 Students are allowed in one Group.
- After notification of acceptance, a poster of 4 ft horizontally and 3 ft vertically will be required to be submitted.

Poster Abstract Submission:

- Authors are invited to submit their abstract in by February 06, 2014 to [email protected], [email protected] & CC to [email protected]
- The submitted file can be in MS Word format or PDF format.
- The title of seminar <29th IEEEP Seminar Poster Submission> should be stated in the email subject.
- Registration fee Rs.200/- per author.
